N Lartigue Monorail
A first for model railways is this complete set of parts recreating the 1888 Listowel and Ballybunion Railway. Built to the Lartigue system, it was the world’s first commercial passenger monorail and remains one of the most famous monorail systems ever constructed. These models can make an unusual wagon load (the prototype stock was built in England and shipped over) or static display, but when used together – notably ready-to-use sleepers for track – everything is available to create a fully operational model.
